Elizabeth A. Doyle
Betsy Doyle has more than twenty years insurance coverage and bad faith defense experience in the representation of general liability, professional liability, and property insurance carriers. As a former coverage litigation counsel and member of an in-house legal team for an international property, casualty and professional liability insurance company, Ms. Doyle routinely handled a broad breadth of insurance coverage and related legal issues involving claims and underwriting groups and senior management with respect to insurance litigation, suit avoidance and timely dispute resolution.
A problem-solver by nature, Ms. Doyle has a keen ability to evaluate complex coverage disputes and develop the best litigation strategy to achieve the client’s objective. Ms. Doyle has experience drafting policy language and providing in-house client seminars on coverage and claims handling issues. More recently, Ms. Doyle has focused her practice on inter-insurer recovery for national general liability insurers involving priority of coverage and loss allocation disputes, as well as the investigation of suspicious claims and cyber insurance claims.
